Hey everyone, So I know this is probably going to get flagged or buried, but I wanted to share this anyway. What you're looking at (sorry again for the potato quality) is the first known image of Malden – a restricted, not-officially-on-the-map country that's currently under construction and guarded like a top-secret launch site.
(Taken with a smuggled camera. No devices allowed here yet. I had to hide the thing inside a prayer box.)
Let me back up and explain how I got here.
Three years ago, I was just another burnout kid in PAWPCity, bouncing between dead-end jobs and trying to keep my head straight after some rough stuff at home. I found Geraldism during a pretty low point – or maybe it found me. Gerald Cumberbach’s sermons were everywhere online for a while, before they started disappearing. He didn’t sound like a preacher. He talked about foundations, about new orders, and about making meaning from rubble. It hit hard. Next thing I knew I was attending meetings in a warehouse basement with like-minded people who felt just as directionless and furious at everything as I did.
I enlisted in the Cult of Geraldism the moment they offered a structured path – full devotion, physical training, relocation. I signed up. No regrets.
Fast forward to now: I’m stationed in Malden, a developing country in the literal sense. Roads still being built. Buildings half-done. But the church compound here is complete. It’s the headquarters of the New Foundation, where Gerald Cumberbach himself lives and leads. And I’m one of the guards. It’s not what you'd expect from a “cult” – we’re disciplined, trained, and organized. But yeah, it’s a cult. I don’t run from the word. It saved me.
Malden is run by a council known as The Maldenstep. They’re like a hybrid between a government and a corporate board, with deep loyalty to Gerald as he is a member. They control access, movement, everything. No cameras allowed – at all. They say surveillance creates rot. “A world without watchers is a world worth building,” that’s the motto.
So yeah, this photo? I smuggled it. I know it's not much. It's grainy. Lighting is trash. But it's real. That’s the edge of the compound – the walls you see behind me are the north prayer quarters and the outer meditation corridors. Beyond that? Still just scaffolding and desert. But it’s growing. Malden is growing.
If this post disappears or I go silent, you’ll know why. Just remember you saw it here first.
And yeah – sorry again about the photo quality. You try taking a picture with a decade-old lens shoved into a hollowed-out hymnal while someone chants about fire and purity over your shoulder.
Stay sharp,
– Niko Miller

This is truly amazing. We are witnessing history!!!
