No dickhead, not soccer goals. Real life goals. Dreams. Aspirations. I think everyone has them in someway. We almost have to have them growing up as parents or teachers are always asking you what you want to do in life. What direction you want to take like, career wise. And for teenagers who have never had an original thought in their life, trying to grow up all of a sudden and find something to stick to can be really fucking hard. Especially now of all times. 2025 has arrived and the cost of living has never been so fucking terrible in human history. It's even worse when you realise the big businesses are doing it to us on purpose. Making our living hell. As do governments. But, can you do? At the end of the day we remain powerless to stop any of that. That's why you have to try and live your life and get on with the things you want to do.
But you may be asking yourself, "how the fuck do i even achieve my dreams dog?"
Well that's the thing mate, ya just kinda fucking do it. You can't sit on your ass just talking about how good it would be to live like that your whole life. In every town in the world, there are hundreds if not thousands of people who grew up and wasted their life. Sat back and smoked weed all day everyday. A real Moe resident. Exactly what people should aspire NOT to be like.
Keeping a positive mindset on the matter helps too. You can't just mope around, sleep into 4-5PM and get up and play ya phone. Because for starters, that's really fucking sad. Secondly, you aren't actually accomplishing anything at all. And lastly, you aren't even living if you get to that point. You're simply just existing, waiting to get through the next day.
In my honest opinion, to make it in the real world you have to live in the real world. If you wake up and get on your phone 5 minutes after you wake up like 95% of the population does, the phone has got a hold of you for the entire day. You won't put it down mate, don't bullshit me. You'll tasks one handed, have conversations with others while not looking up from the phone, avoid eating or getting up and walking to the kitchen because of the phone. This isn't just the phone specifically but literally any electronic. And you need to remember that all the devices we have have been designed to feel as pleasant as possible. Social media companies hire psychologists to see how to keep people on their apps as long as possible. And it's always just one more scroll. One more reel. Even though you know damn well you won't ever think about those video reels again or even remember them in 10 minutes. It's all just temporary bliss. But that temporary(ness) has turned into our everyday because electronics now rule our reality. We've tricked ourselves into thinking that high tech and AI is the future and our evolution, not realising that devolution is entirely fucking possible dawg.
So assuming you can wake up without touching your phone or grabbing for it, go make yourself breakfast. Eat, shower, exercise, get the fucking day going. Young people now have a terrible habit of believing things will just get handed to them. You have to be the person you want to be mate, this isn't a fucking AFK Roblox tycoon where you can just sit back and level up. No mate. Genuinely try.

thanks to soolee, i realised all i had to do is get the fuck off my ass and get out of my head 👍👍
That temporary bliss can be lowkey dangerous, props to Soolee for being the one to talk about it.
